In addition to her tremendous accomplishment on the SAT, Manasi was named a finalist in the annual National Merit Scholarship Program. By achieving this finalist standing, she earned the title of Merit Scholar. She is a member of the National Honor Society and member of the Science, History, Math, English, French and Music Honor Societies.

Accompanying her academic success, Manasi, along with classmate Alyssa Long, founded the Animal Rights Council at Feehan. As co-president, Manasi is passionate about the cause. The council collects supplies for local animal shelters and educates citizens on the subject of animal testing.  She and the council are enthusiastically planning a Coffee House Show and a Vegan Potluck of which all proceeds will go directly to local shelters.
