"Becoming a Realtor: Do You Have What It Takes?
If you've always been curious about the real estate industry, or are thinking about a career change, this class might be for you.

NEWTON, Mass., Dec. 8, 2016 – “Becoming a Realtor: Do you have what it takes?” will be held on Tues., Jan. 10, at Newton North High School. The one-and-a-half hour class is designed to help attendees learn how to navigate the world of real state and help participants determine if they have “the right stuff” for a career in the industry. The class is taught by Marie Presti, a veteran continuing education instructor, real estate agent and president of The Presti Group. Attendees will learn the skills needed to succeed in the highly competitive real estate business and how to get licensed as a realtor in Massachusetts. Presti will also address what to look for in a real estate brokerage when looking for that first or supplemental job.
The course is sponsored by Newton Community Education (NCE) as part of its winter 2017 session. Presti has taught more than 100 of its courses since 2004. She said, “The classes offered each season enable individuals, of all ages, the opportunity to thrive by learning and gaining new skills. I couldn’t be prouder of my association with this first-rate organization.”
