Bishop Feehan Says Goodbye to Three Retirees

Members of Bishop Feehan High School's faculty bid farewell to their colleagues who retired from the school this year.

It was time to close their class planners, put away the chalk and say goodbye for three aculty members.

Math Department Chair Virginia Jolin, of Plainville, along with Director of Guidance Neil Loew, also of Plainville, and Judith McLaughlin, a math teacher from Saunderstown, said goodbye to faculty at the Attleboro school during a reception Monday in honor of their retirement held at thein Attleboro.

Together, they had more than 100 years of combined education experience at Bishop Feehan High School.

"These three individuals whose service totaled in excess of 100 years will be greatly missed," Bishop Feehan President Chris Servant said. "Their contributions extended well beyond the classroom and they have set a standard of service that is an inspiration to all of us."

Some of the retirees' closest friends paid tribute to them by sharing memories. Each of them was presented with flowers and wooden rocking chairs featuring the Bishop Feehan High School seal.
