Borman Part of UMass Lowell Celebration

Attleboro senior was a scholarship recipient who thanked the donors to the program.

Senior Andrew Borman, a Attleboro resident, was among scholarship recipients at UMass Lowell who recently participated in a gala event held as part of the university’s Celebration of Philanthropy.

The first-ever Legacy of Giving luncheon at the UMass Lowell Inn & Conference Center brought together the generous donors who have established scholarship funds at the university and the students who receive help through those funds.

Borman is among more than 440 students this year being assisted by one of the more than 220 endowed scholarships at the university. Students at UMass Lowell were awarded nearly $825,000 through endowed scholarships during the last academic year.
