Dayspring Christian Academy Sponsors Annual “Spiritual Emphasis Week”

 With assistance from a New Hampshire-based Christian ministry organization, students and staff members at Dayspring Christian Academy of Attleboro are celebrating the school’s third annual “Spiritual Emphasis Week” this week with a series of daily activities designed to increase their awareness of and love of God.

Accompanied by representatives of Coastlands Consultants – a relationally based ministry headquartered in Manchester, N.H., which provides on-site mentoring teams functioning as missionaries in Christian venues – DCA students, faculty members and staff members are all experiencing a rebirth of their Christian faith this week. Activities include daily chapel services, journaling exercises and classroom interactions, all designed to enhance passion for and develop closer personal relationships with God.

Coastlands Consultants representatives are at DCA for five days this week (Monday through Friday) supervising journaling activities; assisting teachers in specific spiritual teaching points; and engaging school members in spiritual songs, writing exercises and relationship projects. The representatives freely mingle daily with school members and join them frequently in spiritual interactions and discussions.

“The purpose of ‘Spiritual Emphasis Week’ is to stress the importance to our students of putting God close to their hearts,” said Robert Lavallee, DCA’s Spiritual Advisor. “Coastlands Consultants representatives prepare object lessons to encourage our students; visit our classrooms; leads in the singing of Christian songs; provide answers about spiritual topics; and interact with our students on a very personal level.”

According to literature produced by Coastlands Consultants, the organization has existed for more than three decades and has ministered to Christian schools and venues throughout the United States.
