Dayspring Christian Academy Students Participate in Fundraiser for American Heart Association

Students in Kindergarten through Grade 8 at Dayspring Christian Academy of Attleboro recently participated in a joint “Jump Rope For Heart” and Hoops For Heart” fundraising program at the school for the benefit of the American Heart Association.

According to Physical Education Teacher Holly Redding, students raised more than $3,000 for the AHA. The top fundraisers were Alex Silva and Isabella Vinacco of Kindergarten and Toby Chan, Madison Rogers and Christopher Pierre of Grade 1.

Under the supervision of Ms. Redding, students in younger grades solicited contributions from family members and friends based on the number of times they successfully jumped a rope. In the upper grades, students solicited donations based on the number of times they successfully shot at a basketball hoop.
