Dayspring Christian Academy Students Perform Well At District Mathematics Competition

Students in grades 3 through 8 at Dayspring Christian Academy of Attleboro produced outstanding results recently during the 2014 Eastern Massachusetts/Rhode Island District Mathematics Olympics sponsored by the Association of Christian Schools International in Barrington, R.I.

According to DCA faculty member Deryck Mason, a total of 10 school students placed among the top five finishers in their respective grades during the competition, which attracted contestants from 11 ACSI-affiliated schools in the two states. Included in that group were two first-place finishers.

Students had the option of participating in either the Computation or Reasoning portions of the competition.
