Strolling through Leonards antique store feels almost like visiting a museum, with pieces dating back as far as the 1600's. Their woodsy compound includes multiple showrooms with vast amounts of historic and contemporary furniture, and a woodworking studio where master craftsman renovate, replicate and restore antique pieces. They’ve been featured in numerous home design publications over the years, and one of their beds was purchased for the Obamas when they moved into the White House.
Leonards boasts the largest collection of pre-Civil War beds, but carries all sorts of furniture and home goods. Most of their revolving antique collection is American, and much of it from New England. They also import antiques from Europe, and carry reproductions of period pieces.
