Community VNA Hospice Care will host their annual holiday tree lighting on Sunday, December 4, 2011 beginning at 4:00 PM indoors at their 10 Emory Street, Attleboro headquarters. This brief event is free and open to the public and includes holiday music, refreshments and the opportunity to add the names of loved ones to the stars on the memorial tree. In recognition of the Centennial Anniversary of Community VNA, a new tradition will be inaugurated as the first indoor tree will be lit during the ceremony and will display the silver stars donated in memory of loved ones. This year, each person attending will receive a commemorative card ornament created by Community VNA in recognition of their 100th anniversary.

Community VNA Hospice Care offers grief support to anyone in the community who has had a loss through death, not just for those who were cared for by the agency hospice team. Agency grief professionals can offer suggestions and sources of support. They are a resource for those dealing with loss as well as for those seeking guidance on how to support others who are grieving.
