Digital Scrapbooking

This program is part of the city-wide Big Read program focusing on Mark Twain's "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer." Mark Twain was full of good ideas, but his only successful invention was the self-pasting scrapbook. Twain scrap-booked his many and varied adventures and quickly grew frustrated with the mess and supplies required and so the
self-pasting scrapbook was born.

Today’s scrap-bookers are no different. Family and friends are so much fun, you don't want to forget a minute of the times you share. If you love the idea of scrapbooking, but not the thought of all that paper and glue, then maybe digital scrapbooking is for you. Local scrap-booker
Laurie Siddall will share her tips for using the computer to create beautiful page spreads, calendars, holiday cards and even books as personal and detailed as traditional pages.
