Guided Walk at Colman Reservation

Local naturalist Gary Krofta will lead a guided walk through the Colman Reservation, a 77-acre conservation area owned and managed by the non-profit Attleboro Land Trust.  The Colman Reservation, donated by Adele Colman in 1992, was the first of many gifts of conservation land the trust has received since its founding in 1990. Trails on the reservation lead to a 20-ton glacial erratic boulder and a 200-year-old hemlock tree.

Krofta will share his knowledge of the plants and animals that inhabit the area and his methods for "reading" the landscape to uncover its past, and its future.

The walk is free and open to the public and will be held rain or shine.  Meet at 9:00 am at the Colman Reservation parking lot on Steere Street in Attleboro. The walk will last approximately 90 minutes.
