FRANKLIN, MA — The man killed in a crash in Franklin on Route 495 Thursday has been identified.  Zachary Lemir, 23, of Warwick, R.I., was driving a pickup truck on the northbound side of the highway when he veered off the road and crashed into the woods, police said. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.  The crash happened at about 6 a.m. near Exit 17.  The cause of the crash is under investigation.  It was the second fatal crash on that stretch of Route 495 in recent days. Two were killed in a <a href="https://patch.com/massachusetts/attleboro/2-killed-route-495-crash" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrong-way crash in Mansfield Wednesday</a>.
