The Pet Adoption and Pet Care Day will highlight different pet care and adoption and foster organizations.

Animal lovers looking to add a new member to their family can connect with local adoption and foster organizations at the Pet Adoption and Pet Care Day event this month.
The event, hosted by Attleboro Cadette Girl Scout Isabel Cano, takes place 12:30 p.m. to 3:30pm Sunday Sept, 21 at the Arnold Anderson House, 14 Fourth St..
Families will get the chance to connect with organizations to adopt or foster pets, and those that already have pets can learn more about caring for their animals. Pets are welcome to attend.

Craft tables will be set up to make dog treats and cat toys.
“The event is almost like a craft fair but for animals,” Cano said.
To make the dog treats, Cano will provide dough for kids who can cut the treats into different shapes. She will then bake the treats in the oven at the event. People can make the toys for their pets or donate the toys to the organizations. Two biscuits cost $1.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, email Lewis or call 508-742-8648.
