In front of a large crowd of schoolmates, family members and friends, the graduates were urged to “enjoy the ride” of life by Pastor Bailey, who also served as commencement speaker. Warning the graduates that “life is filled with uncertainties,” Pastor Bailey encouraged them to “be true to yourselves and your God” as they embarked on the next chapter of their life journeys and adventures.
“Uncertainty can unsettle the heart,” Pastor Bailey said. “Find strength in relying completely on your God and Savior.”

Pastor Bailey also urged graduates to remain true to their faith.
“There is nothing wrong with you marching to your own drumbeat,” he said. “Just remember that God is beating your drum.”
The hour-long graduation ceremony also featured musical performances from GBCA’s Junior High/Senior High chorale; presentations of special achievement awards to students for the 2013-14 academic year; presentation of the Class of 2014’s gift to the school; distribution of gifts from faculty members to graduates; and awarding of several special gifts to Pastor Bailey and faculty member Lorraine Bailey for their exemplary efforts during the past year.
