Grace Baptist Christian Academy Presents Special Awards To High School and Junior High School Students
Representatives of Grace Baptist Christian Academy of Attleboro recently distributed special achievement awards to high school and middle school students for exemplary efforts during the 2013-14 academic year.
During the school’s annual high school graduation exercises held recently at Country Gardens of Rehoboth, Pastor Jeffrey Bailey (GBCA’s Superintendent and Principal), Lorraine Bailey (faculty member) and Timothy McGee (Chairman of the GBCA School Committee) announced award recipients in grades 7 through 12.
Receiving the Honors Award were Darlene Murray (Grade 7); Clayton Moore, Ashley Moraes and Faith Winchell (Grade 8); Chelsea Oliveira and Tyler Ostrowski (Grade 9); Mary Jane Childs, Emma Goyette and Christine Sojka (Grade 11); and Lee Nichols (Grade 12).

Earning the Excellence Award were Gabriel Hazeldine, Italo Moraes and Evan Tyrol (Grade 12).
Accorded the Faithfulness Award were Daniel Becker (Grade 8); and Gabriel Hazeldine and Evan Tyrol (Grade 12).

Extended the Faculty Award were Hunter Pare and Rachael Spader (Grade 7); Jeremiah Andrade, Daniel Becker and Clayton Moore (Grade 8); Chelsea Oliveira and William Turcotte (Grade 9); Jonathan Bryden, Mary Jane Childs and Kelly Nichols (Grade 11); and Gabriel Hazeldine (Grade 12).
Conferred the Fortitude Award were Darlene Murray (Grade 7); Ashley Moraes and Rachel Nichols (Grade 8); Chelsea Oliveira and Tyler Ostrowski (Grade 9); Emma Goyette, Kelly Nichols and Christine Sojka (Grade 11); and Gabriel Hazeldine, Italo Moraes, Lee Nichols and Evan Tyrol (Grade 12).
Recognized for qualifying for the 2014 National Competition of the American Association of Christian Schools held in Greenville, S.C., were Chelsea Oliveira and Bradford McGee (Grade 9); Jonathan Bryden, Emma Goyette and Kelly Nichols (Grade 11); and Evan Tyrol (Grade 12).
Bestowed the President’s Award for Educational Excellence were Gabriel Hazeldine, Italo Moraes, Lee Nichols and Evan Tyrol (Grade 12).
Honored with the Christian Service Award were Rachel Nichols and Faith Winchell (Grade 8); Bradford McGee and Seth Watson (Grade 9); Jonathan Bryden, Emma Goyette and Kelly Nichols (Grade 11); and Lee Nichols and Evan Tyrol (Grade 12).
