Heroin, Cocaine, Gun, Knife, Brass Knuckles Seized in Taunton Traffic Stop

Juhkwon Thomas, 20, of Dorchester, and Reginald Jenkins, 18, of Taunton, were arrested.

State Police said they seized a load of contraband during a traffic stop in Taunton Sunday.

Three were arrested; police said they found heroin, crack cocaine, a stolen gun, brass knuckles, and a knife in the vehicle.

At about 4:30 p.m., troopers pulled over an Audi A4 for violations on Route 138.

The troopers said they found a passenger, Juhkwon Thomas, 20, of Dorchester, in possession of a stolen .38-caliber Cobra Enterprise handgun, ammunition, a knife, heroin, and crack cocaine. Another passenger, Reginald Jenkins, 18, of Taunton, had brass knuckles in his possession, police said.

The driver, whose name was not released, had Suboxone and was issued a summons, police said.

Thomas and Jenkins were held on $2,500 bail on a host of charges.
