After starting with 80 contestants, the 7th annual Idol contest has been narrowed down to a final 12 contestants.
The 12 students, along with three alternate performers in case of illness, will be competing tonight in a packed auditorium and singing on stage in front of 600+ people.
The 12 students were selected from the original 80 a capella auditions, known as the “Hollywood Round,” where they performed with backing music.
