Police said an alert driver helped them find a missing 13-year-old girl from Freetown.

FREETOWN, MA — A Massachusetts teenager who went missing over the weekend was found safe. Multiple law enforcement agencies on Sunday launched a massive search for the 13-year-old Freetown girl after she went missing Saturday night. Police said she was a runaway.
On Sunday, an "alert driver" in Dartmouth saw the girl walking on Faunce Corner Road, according to Freetown police Chief Carlton Abbott. Officers found the girl safe and in good health. (Sign up for free daily newsletters and breaking news alerts from Massachusetts Patch sites.)
