North Attleboro Woman Saves a Man's Life
Lisa Beckett doesn't think what she did was amazing, but the man she saved and her coworkers sure do.

Lisa Beckett, a receptionist at Nissan Village in North Attleboro, was going about her business, just as she would any other Thursday, but when lunchtime rolled around, the last thing she got was a break.
Shortly after sitting down to lunch, Beckett was notified of a man choking on his food.
Beckett, who is certified in heartsaver CPR and First Aid, quickly walked over to the man to help. "I gave him the Heimlich and the food came out," she said.

The man, who remains anonymous, was very grateful to Beckett, according to coworkers. Once he caught his breath, he was able to confirm he was okay and thanked Beckett.
"While Lisa wasn’t the only one on the scene, she was certainly the most fast-acting," Service Manager Frank Petrozzi said. "There’s a good chance that after all the excitement, the man lost his appetite. But thanks to Lisa, he didn’t lose his life."
