Not Your Average Joe's donated $3500 to the Friends of the Seekonk Library.

While Not Your Average Joe’s has been since the end of December, but the restaurant's official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony was held Wednesday. At that event, NYAJ’s presented its first check to its monthly charity of choice.
The Friends of the Seekonk Public Library received a check for $3500 from the restaurant's general manager, Seth Caplan. The money came from the donations of patrons as well as 15 percent of every sale.
Sue Rutter, treasurer of the Friends of the Seekonk Public Library, said they were thrilled with the donation.

“They have been nothing but supportive of the library,” Rutter said, adding that NYAJ's offered the use of the restaurant for their meetings and the possibility of having the library be the charity of choice a second month later in the year.
Rutter said that they have no concrete plans for the money at the moment since they just received the check, but that it will go towards library programming or possibly an item that the library needs.
