Scholarships Available for Seekonk Students

The high school's guidance department has a list of scholarships available for students.

High school seniors are beginning the and looking for ways to help pay for college. The guidance department has a list of national and regional scholarships available for Seekonk High Students and, while it is still early in the process, some scholarship deadlines are approaching quickly.

  • St. Anne’s Credit Union: $1,000. Students must be a member of St. Anne’s Credit Union. Application due Jan. 23.
  • Henry David Thoreau Foundation: Student must be entering environmental studies. Application due Feb. 1.
  • Hood Sportsmanship: $5,000. Student must have participated in a varsity sport, performed volunteer work and maintained a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Application due Feb. 1.
  • Kentucky Fried Chicken’s Colonel’s Scholars: Student must have a GPA of 2.75 or high and demonstrate financial need. Application due Feb. 8.
  • Red Pine Scholarship: $5,000 to $20,000 annually. Student must be low to middle income with a strong academic record. Application needs to be postmarked by Feb. 21.
  • National Association of Asian American Professionals of Boston Future Leaders Award: $2,000 to $3,500. Student must show academic achievement, leadership, community service, extracurricular activities and financial need. Application needs to be postmarked by Feb. 27.
  • Sons of Italy: $25 to $1000. Application needs to be postmarked by March 1.
  • Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship: Application due by May 1.
