Blues Brothers Star Dan Aykroyd Makes Pit Stop in Attleboro [VIDEO]

More than 500 star-struck fans waited hours in line for a picture with Dan Aykroyd at Yankee Spirits in South Attleboro.

Some fans arrived as early a 2 p.m. for the 5 p.m. arrival of Dan Aykroyd and the Crystal Head Vodka team at in South Attleboro. They arrived with hundreds of cases of the signature bottle awaiting Aykroyd's signature. People of all ages travelled from all over New England to meet their inspiration and their favorite actor.

Some arrived with memorabilia from original record jackets to toys from their childhood and then there were those who dressed for the occasion and some who came to entertain.

One of the owners of Yankee Spirits, Dave Cummings, was on hand to make sure everything went as planned. He was excited for Aykroyd's visit as they were able to film this year's Christmas commercial earlier today at their Swansea store.

Once the signing was over, Cummings said he would prepare for their next event, a fundraiser for St. Jude's Hospital. Last year they raised more than $9,000 in donations and are on track to beat that number this year. They said they hope that their November 10 wine tasting will bring them past their goal.
