Recently Fritz has been dealt a hand that most poker players wouldn't know how to play.
Last
fall he was diagnosed with a rare blood disease called Amyloidosis.
Tragically and utmost unexpectedly he lost both his legs after suffering
life threatening complications during his chemotherapy, stem cell
transplant treatment for the disease.
He
and wife Linda have been living in an apartment in Boston, a
requirement by the amyloid medical team (at the patients own expense)
for the last 7 months. We hope to raise funds for the unexpected medical
bills, living expenses, home renovations and vehicle modifications
needed to adapt Fritz's old life to his new life as a double amputee.
Though he has been courageous and optimistic through both devastating hardships, he needs help now more than ever. Please join us in this fundraising effort at Morin's to support Fritz in his time of need.
