Three Guilty In North Attleboro Steroid Distribution Case

The three were accused of helping David Esser import steroids from Hong Kong.

NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA — Three people pleaded guilty for their role in a North Attleboro steroid distribution ring, the Sun Chronicle reported.

Alison Shepard Esser and James McLaughlin of North Attleboro and Mason A. Nieves of Providence will receive reduced sentences for cooperating with investigators in building a case against Esser's husband, David Esser, who headed the ring. The three were accused of helping David Esser import steroids from Hong Kong.

Alison Esser, McLaughlin and Nieves are scheduled to be sentenced on April 19.
