VIDEO: Harry Potter Fans Sell Out Showcase Cinemas Seats

Movie-goers rush to see the last installment of the Harry Potter film series, which opened Friday.

On Friday, the last Harry Potter film hit theaters everywhere. After a decade of magic, the film series concludes with its final installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

Not unlike cinemas across the country, fans of all ages flocked to the Showcase Cinemas in Seekonk. Prepared for the box-office rush, the theater added showings. Friday night tickets were sold out as of the morning.

For devoted fans, the feeling is bittersweet. While they have been waiting 10 years for the epic conclusion, they say the finality is hard to accept. For over ten years, audiences grew close to the story and its characters.

On the bright side, many find that Deathly Hallows is a fitting ending to the beloved saga. A group of Seekonk children after the movie gave it a good review.
