VIDEO: Seekonk Junior Captain Serves Up Tennis Talk

With a 2-7 record, coach Mike Petrucci's Seekonk girls tennis team is now mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. But Kelsey Harrington is at the head of a group of young players trying to get better this season so that next season can end in postseason play.

Harrington is a two sport varsity athlete (also playing volleyball in the winter) and a member of the  National Honor Society. She juggles the challenges of school and sports, her teammates, the difficult season, and a myriad of other topics.

Typically senior athletes are the captains of teams at Seekonk, but Harrington has been named one of the captains of this year's team despite her junior status. She has been a great success story for the team, moving up the ladder from the second doubles to the third singles player.
