Viewfinder: Local Toy Company Offers Expertise
It takes an expert toy engineer and serious "bubble-ology" to create the toys at Little Kids.
At the north end of Seekonk on Newman Avenue, situated next to the train tracks, sits the office of Little Kids Inc. The toy company moved from East Providence two years ago and has created not only the "No-Spill Bubble Tumbler" and "Toobers and Zots" but a wide array of toys designed to stimulate the imagination, according to Jim Engle, president of the enterprise.
Little Kids was contacted by the Attleboro's Women at Work Museum to create a play area at the Expo of the Senses held on June 26 in Attleboro.
Little Kids brought their famous bubble machines and thousands of Toobers and Zots for the children and families to play with and take home. They sold their products including the brand new version of Toobers and Zots. All profits went to the Women at Work Museum.

Engle was delighted to have an opportunity to share Spike the Dragon that was created for the 2011 New York Toy Fair in February.
"We are able to donate the Toobers and Zots for the families to unleash their imaginations," explained Engle. "We are happy to partner with the women."

Museum volunteers marvels at the cross-generational amusement.
"What is amazing is that it was not just the small children who were enjoying the imaginative play but the entire family - including the grandparents," said Dailia Marinilli, museum volunteer. “We have found that children love the open-ended play, to build one of a kind creatures, flowers, rocket ships…Anything they can imagine!”
Little Kids Inc. has been winning toy awards for their bubble machines and containers since 1996. And the company has enjoyed a little bit of broadcasting noteriety. The company's endevours have been featured on "Late Show with David Letterman" and even "ABC World News."
