The sponsored by the was the place to rock the night away. Families of all ages from the very young to the seniors everyone had their toes tapping and their hands clapping to the familiar sound of the Oldies. Vini Ames & Sh-bop brought their Oldies Rock 'n Rolls show with a special guest appearance of the king himself, Elvis. They even had their own groupies who followed them from Hope Gardens in Attleboro. Ames had performed for them last year and they couldn't wait to see him again.

Anna Howes and Gerry Beitz were in their '20s when this music was the craze. They both enjoyed the trip down memory lane but a favorite had to be "Let it be me, by the Everly Brothers,"  sung by Ames and Debbie Larson.

Vini Ames & Sh-bop have been together as a group for almost 20 years with a few additions to the group. One the keyboard is Ames' wife Stephanie and on the guitar is Stan Bienkiewicz and the female lead is Debbie Larson rounding out the family connection is Ames' granddaughter Alyson on the base.
