
Kicking off its 54th (!!) season, the venerable Aardvark Jazz Orchestra reflects on America at 250 with a program honoring freedom, diversity, inclusion and other bedrock ideas of democracy. Music will include 18th century Boston composer William Billings’ Chester, compositions by Aardvark founder and conductor Mark Harvey including The Journey, Of The People, Passione, and No Walls, and John Coltrane’s rarely heard tribute Miles Mode in honor of the centennials of Coltrane and Miles Davis.
$20 advance general admission, $25 at the door. $10 for students, $5 for EBT/WIC cardholders.
