The Center for Media Innovation & Social Impact’s 2026 Summit brings together scholars, journalists, scientists, community leaders, influencers, technologists, and members of the public to explore what it means to be “rooted” in a rapidly changing digital society. The Summit will feature keynote speakers Marshall Ganz, Rita E. Hauser Senior Lecturer in Leadership, Organizing and Civil Society at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and Jillian Racoosin, Executive Director of the Foundation for Social Connection. Through panels and workshops focused on community, ecology, and attention, attendees will examine how emerging technologies can strengthen our connections to one another and the world around us.
