French Jazz And Pop Concert With 'The Swing Thieves'

On Wednesday, April 19, the French Cultural Center will welcome The Swing Thieves, an energetic gypsy jazz group, for a concert of French jazz and pop. The group's members, who hail from St. Martin, Switzerland, Greece, Florida and Wisconsin, have all made names for themselves in Boston's gypsy jazz scene.

Their set will range from the 1930s to present day and include standards by the father of gypsy jazz, Django Reinhardt, as well as hits by Serge Gainsbourg, Henri Salvador and Zazie. French wine and light refreshments will accompany the concert.
