Beer Cooler Sparks Bar Fire At T.C.'s Lounge
Firefighters sawed behind the bar to gain access after a short circuit in a beer cooler sparked the blaze.
The Boston Fire Department responded just after 4:30 Tuesday to a 2-alarm fire behind the bar of T.C.'s Lounge.
Damage is estimated at $250,000, and it was caused by an electrical short circuit in a beer cooler.
Twitter reports say firefighters used saws to gain access to inside the bar. Only a few employees were inside, and no injuries were reported.

The flames at 1 Haviland St., in the first floor of the four story brick building on the corner of Mass Ave. were out by 5:16 p.m.
As of 5:26 p.m., traffic was still backed up by Mass. Ave and Boylston Street.
