Jazz Brunch Proposed at Back Bay Social Club

The license would allow for live music, only from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, in the Back Bay Social Club's downstairs space with no windows.

The Boylston Street restaurant and bar was before the neighborhood's licensing and building use committee last week with a proposal for a jazz brunch. The committee, part of the Neighborhood Association of Back Bay, did not oppose the request for an expanded entertainment license.

The license would allow for live music, only from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, in the Back Bay Social Club's downstairs space with no windows.

This was the first look at the proposal, which would still need to be approved by other city committees.
