National Braille Press Announces New Editor and Programs Manager, Kesel Wilson

National Braille Press (NBP) announces that it has appointed Kesel Wilson as the new Editor and Programs Manager.

(July 7, 2016) – Boston, MA – National Braille Press (NBP) announces that it has appointed Kesel Wilson as the new Editor and Programs Manager. In this role, Wilson will co-manage existing braille literacy programs such as the Great Expectations and ReadBooks! programs, oversee the development of new publications by NBP, and manage the popular Syndicated Columnists Weekly and Our Special magazines. One of her goals as Editor, is to expand the NBP catalog to include more science and technology offerings for the blind and visually impaired.

Kesel has many years of publishing experience, most recently at the Pearson Technology Group . Prior to that she held positions at Scholastic, Jones and Bartlett Publishers and the quilting book publisher C&T Publishing.

“Kesel brings a wide range of experiences, including working in publishing, curriculum development, teaching chemistry, and in technology,” said NBP President Brian MacDonald. “She is a great fit for National Braille Press to broaden our book selections, and to target the underserved areas of our community.”

A graduate of the University of Maine, Wilson resides in Somerville, Mass.
