Owen Danoff / Mike Squillante

Washington, D.C. native Owen Danoff '11 wrote and recorded his first song, complete with drums, bass, guitar, and piano, at age 15. Now an award-winning songwriter with a degree in film scoring from Berklee College of Music, he has emerged as a multi-talented musician and folk/rock solo artist. His music has been compared to that of Paul Simon, James Taylor, John Mayer, and the Wallflowers, among others, and combines a clear lyrical emphasis with a love for memorable hooks and the energy of rock 'n' roll. Danoff’s first full-length album, Twelve Stories, is a testament to both his songwriting and instrumental abilities. Released in May 2014, Twelve Stories features Danoff on both bass and guitar alongside a band that includes guest musicians such as Rami Jaffee and Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters). In August 2015, Danoff released his award-winning song "No Such Thing" as a single on iTunes. He was also a contestant on season 10 of The Voice and reached the top 11. While on the show, he worked with Adam Levine as well as Tori Kelly and Miley Cyrus.

Mike Squillante '11 is a songwriter and pop-rock artist who has been writing and recording original songs since the age of 12. He released his self-produced debut LP, Backward Glances, Second Chances, in November 2010 and performed for Grammy-winning artist John Mayer after being selected by the Berklee College of Music Songwriting staff. After graduating with a degree in songwriting, Squillante moved to New York and now gigs regularly on the club scene. He also maintains a thriving YouTube channel with over 2,000,000 total views with over 20,000 subscribers. This is where he showcases his talents as a multi-instrumentalist, producer, filmmaker, and songwriter. He has twice won Perez Hilton's Can You Sing? contest and had a brief stint on The Voice. Thanks to a Kickstarter campaign, he was able to fund his next release by raising $12,000 from fans worldwide. He has toured extensively with Atlantic Records recording artist Melanie Martinez as both a member of her band and an opening act, and with Capitol Records artist Marc Scibilia. His most recent projects include writing and composing the new musical Lucifer for an off-Broadway stage and building momentum with his new band, the Running Lights.
