He's been meeting with parents, educators, and neighbors about drug activity and violence near Boston Common and holding public safety meetings, including in the Back Bay, to press for more police presence and accountability.
   

• Mayor Michelle Wu Announces City's Preparations for Move-In Period, Welcomes College and University Students to Boston (einpresswire.com) — Back Bay residents should expect extra city inspectors, trash enforcement, and student move-in activity as Boston rolls out intensive services in major student neighborhoods, including Back Bay. The City is tightening parking rules, boosting rodent control, and offering free mattress pickup appointments, 311 support, and other resources to keep streets clear, safe, and accessible during the late-August and early-September move-in rush.
