Police Log: Drunk and Disorderly Scenes at Two Upscale Restaurants

Arrests were made in two separate incidents of intoxicated men bothering patrons at Scoozi and Towne - where at the latter the suspect threatened a waitress with a butter knife.

Nicholas Livolsi, of 110 Peterborough St, Apt. 201, Boston, was arrested Saturday 9:07 p.m. on 237 Newbury St. and charged with disorderly conduct after causing a scene outside Scoozi Restaurant.

The manager of the restaurant flagged down police as they were driving by, saying  Livolsi, who was standing in front of the restaurant, was intoxicated and bothering customers by reaching over their plates and screaming.

When he saw police, he responded "What the (expletive) do you want?" according to the report. Police offered him a ride home, to which he refused. As a crowd began to gather, officers asked him to leave, and said if he didn't quiet down he would be arrested. "Do what you have to do," he responded. So officers arrested him.

Meanwhile, on Sunday police arrested Nelson Molina, of 201 Boylston St. Jamaica Plain, at 9:04 p.m. and charged him with assault with a dangerous weapon (a knife), disorderly conduct, and threats to commit a crime at 900 Boylston Street.

Police were called to Towne Stove and Spirits, where the manager said Molina entered the restaurant, sat down at a table, and requested an alcoholic beverage.

Staff refused to serve him because he was intoxicated, according to the report. He then began to yell, and threatened the waitress with a butter knife, saying "that he was in the mafia and he would kill everyone," the report said.

An employee that spoke Spanish was able to convince the suspect to put down the knife until police arrived.
