  • Police responded at 8:45 a.m. to a report breaking and entering at 160 Newbury St.
  • Police towed a motor vehicle from Commonwealth Ave. at 12:01 a.m.
  • Police responded to Beacon Street for a report of larceny between $50 and $199 from a vehicle.
  • Police towed a motor vehicle at 1:30 a.m. from 207 Commonwealth Ave.
  • Police responded at 3:30 p.m. to a report of fraud at 304 Newbury St. A caller said his credit card was stolen and used to purchase at least $1,000 in airline tickets.
  • Police responded at 1:45 p.m. to 170 Newbury St. for a report of larceny of more than $200 from a vehicle.

  • Police responded to a report of larceny, $200 and over, from a vehicle at 6 p.m. at 6 Gloucester St.
  • Police responded to Arlington St. at 7:45 a.m. for a report of vandalism.
  • Police investigated a person at 8:29 a.m. at 800 Boylston St.
  • Police responded to 140 Clarendon St. at 2:30 a.m. for threats to do bodily harm.
  • Police responded to 1084 Boylston St. at 10:25 a.m. for a report of shoplifting $200 and more.
  • Darragh Connolly, of 113 Spruce St., Watertown, was arrested on Gloucester St. at 1:20 p.m. and .
  • Police responded at 7 p.m. to 350 Beacon St. for a report of larceny, $200 and over, from a vehicle.

  • Police responded at 12:10 a.m. to 835 Beacon St. for a report of vandalism.
  • Police responded to Boylston St. at 8 p.m. for a report of a dog locked in a car. Officers were flagged down by people concerned about a medium sized white dog locked in a car with the windows rolled up. Police saw a card for a dog walker on the windshield, and the woman who left it said she had seen the dog in the car ealier in the evening and left her card. Police canvased local hotels for the owner of the vehicle, found a phone number, and left several messages to no avial. The animal control officer assumed custody of the dog.

  • Police responded at 3:30 a.m. to Berkeley St. for a report of larceny over $200 from a vehicle.
  • Police responded to 302 Beacon St. at 4 p.m. to a report of vandalism.
  • Police responded to 305 Commonwealth Ave. for a report of vandalism.
