• Police responded at 12:01 a.m. to a report of breaking and entering into a non-residence at 254 Newbury St.
• Daniel Justin Ligus, of 16 Melrose St., Springfield, was arrested at 3 a.m. at 198 Beacon St., and charged with disturbing the peace.
• Police also received a report of vandalism at 3 a.m. at 198 Beacon St.
• Police responded to a report of shoplifting under $50 from 497 Boylston St.
• Alex Gaudette, of 80 Dunstable St., Charlestown, was arrested at 6:19 a.m. and charged with wilful and malicious destruction of property at 346 Newbury St.

• Police received a report of a missing person at 800 Boylston St. at 4 p.m. The person was later located.
• Police received a report at 8:02 p.m. of larceny by scheme at 360 Newbury St. 
• Police responded to a report of vandalism on 358 Commonwealth Ave. at 11:02 p.m. 
• Police responded at 11:58 p.m. to a report of an object on fire at 538 Commonwealth Ave.

• Police responded at 12 a.m. to 75 Berkeley St. for a report of breaking and entering into a residence at night, without using force.
• Police responded to a report of a purse snatcher stealing over $200 at 12:30 a.m. at 113 Dartmouth St.
• Police responded to 1179 Boylston St. at 12:59 a.m. for a report of breaking and entering into a residence, with no force.
• Police responded at 1 a.m. to Clarendon St. for a report of larceny under $50 from a vehicle.
• Police responded to a report of harassing phone calls at 130 Dartmouth St. at 8 a.m.
• Police responded at 8:26 a.m. to 239 Commonwealth Ave. for a report of larceny between $50 and $199 from a vehicle.
• Tammie Phillips, of 889 Harrison Ave., Boston, was arrested at 10:45 a.m. at 231 Massachusetts Ave. and charged with shoplifting over $200.
