Police Logs: Man and Two Juveniles Charged with Assault and Battery with a Gun
Suspects attacked two men on Boylston and Hereford streets Monday night.

Mon, March 21
- Matthew Nutile, of 109 Cushing St. Waltham, and two 16-year-old juveniles, were arrested at 12:20 a.m. and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (gun), after allegedly attacking two men on Boylston and Herford streets. Police responded to a call and found the victims bleeding with head injuries. The were transported to Beth Isreal Hospital, after identifying the suspects, and telling officers one of the men stated: 'You wanna get popped? You wanna get popped?' and then reached to his back 'in a gesture that he had a gun,' according to the report. Police apprehended them on Massachusetts Ave., where they were booked and charged. One of the men was uncooperative, screaming obscenities at officers, the report said.

- Police responded at 12:02 p.m. to Fairfield St. for a report of larceny, $50 - $199, from a vehicle.
- Police responded to 523 Newbury St. at 1:40 p.m. for a report of larceny, under $50, from a vehicle.
- Police investigated a person at 3:30 p.m at 200 Commonwealth Ave.
- Mark Barrows, of 421 Oak Hill Ave. Attleboro, was arrested at 3:45 p.m. and charged with shoplifting $200 and over from 786 Boylston St.
- Police responded to 100 Huntington Ave. at 6:30 p.m. for a report of shoplifting $200 and over.
- Police responded at 9:34 p.m. for a motor vehicle accident and leaving the scene at 295 Commonwealth Ave.

- Police responded at 7:15 a.m. to Beacon St. for a report of larceny, $50 to $199, from a vehicle.
- Police responded to 800 Boylston St. at 1:21 p.m. for a report of shoplifting $200 and over.
- Police investigated property at 150 Beacon St. at 1:22 p.m.
- Police responded to 338 Newbury St. at 4:55 p.m. for a report of larceny over $200.
- Police investigated property on Arlington St. at 5:03 p.m.
- Police responded at 6:06 p.m. to 111 Huntington Ave. for a report of an assault and battery.
- Police responded at 8 p.m. to 256 Beacon St. for a report of vandalism.
- Brian Kelly, of 47 Pinetree Road, Stoughton, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. at 223 Commonwealth Ave. and charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

- Police responded at 9 a.m. to 24 Dartmouth St. for a report of larceny, $200 and over.
- Police responded to a report of larceny in building, $200 and over, at 1:23 at 90 Exeter St.
- Michael Domegan, of 47 Hancock St. Quincy, was arrested at 1:43 p.m. and charged with shoplifting $200 and more from Banana Republic on 28 Newbury St. A security officer said he saw Domegan take off his jacket, put on a black leather jacket from the store, then put his own jacket back on to cover it. The security officer stopped him as he tired to walk out of the store.
- Police investigated a person at 850 Boylston St. at 2:36 p.m.
- Police responded at 3:50 p.m. to 587 Boylston St. for a report of larceny over $200.
- Police responded to 508 Boylston St. at 4:30 p.m. for a report of larceny, $200 and over.
- Police responded to Marlborough St. at 7 p.m. for a report of larceny, $50 to $199, from a vehicle.
- Police responded at 9 p.m. to 517 Newbury St. for a report of vandalism.
- Police responded to 91 Newbury St. at 12 p.m. for a report of larceny, $200 and over, in a building.
Thu, March 24
- Christopher Harrington, of 444 Harrison Ave., Boston, was arrested at 9:25 a.m. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a three foot tall yellow plastic 'Caution' sign) and trespassing. Officers saw Harrington, who was previously known for trespassing at the Prudential Center, walking toward the Huntington St. entrance. As police asked him to leave, he check bumped officers, and tried to run toward the escalator, picking up the 'Caution' sign and throwing it at an officer.
- Police investigated a person at 10:30 a.m. at 989 Commonwealth Ave.
- James Granville, of 15 Castlegate Rd., Dorchester, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. at 53 Huntington Ave. and charged with shoplifting $200 and over.
