Police are on the lookout for two male suspects who allegedly broke into the store Wednesday morning at 6:41 a.m.
Officers responded at 6:41 a.m. to a report of a robbery in progress at the 100 Huntington Ave. department store. A witness said he saw two males, both wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, smash through the glass of the front door and leave in a black sedan last seen traveling along Dartmouth and Columbus. A security guard also confirmed he saw two men "milling about the front door" before the store was broken into.
Officers broadcast a description of the car but a search was unsuccessful. They found broken glass and hangers in front of the building. Store employees were unable to determine the extent or amount of merchandise stolen.
