Two 15-year-old males from Boston were arrested and charged with unarmed robbery after allegedly ripping a cell phone out of a man's hand while he was talking on it on Newbury Street just before noon on Friday.
Officers on foot patrol in the area of Newbury and Dartmouth streets heard from witnesses that a man had just been robbed, and was chasing the suspects down Newbury toward the Public Garden.
The officers gave chase in that direction, and eventually caught up with the victim who pointed them to one of the suspects. After a search of the area, they located the second suspect. Both juveniles were arrested and charged with unarmed robbery.
