Police: Six Arrested for Drinking in Back Bay During Bruins Parade

Police came down on people that were drinking in public.

It was a peaceful celebration Saturday when the Bruins paraded the Stanley Cup around Boston. It was not, however, a sober celebration. Police warned they would be enforcing alcohol laws, and the logs were full of arrests for drinking in public:

  • Kelly Declan, of 55 Pemaquid St. Stoughton, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. on Boylston Street and charged with a liquor violation involving minors.
  • James Flannery, of 15 Monterey Dr., Franklin, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. at 667 Boylston St. and charged with drinking in public. 
  • Michael Whelan, of 12 Pratts St., Apt. 202, Mansfield, was arrested at 11:35 a.m. at 776 Boylston St. and charged with drinking in public.
  • Ryan Leahy, of 19 Chandler Dr. Mansfield, was arrested at 12 p.m. on Boylston Street and charged with drinking in public.
  • Shawn Collins, of 9 Kerry Dr., Mansfield, was arrested at 12:35 p.m. at 1 Trinity Place and charged with a liquor violation involving minors.
  • Robert Michael Keohane, of 3 Appaloosa Cr. Tyngsborough, was arrested at 1:10 p.m. at 700 Boylston St. and charged with drinking in public.
