Police: Underaged Man Charged with Police Assault Outside Whiskey's
Alexander Rarog, 20, of Roxbury, allegedly assaulted a police officer who wouldn't let him into Whiskeys Bar before closing time Friday night.

A fight between a police officer and a man who tried to enter Whisky's just before closing and refused to leave Friday night, resulted in a struggle outside the bar, according to a Boston Police report.
Alexander Rarog, 20, of Roxbury, was arrested at 1:50 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a public employee and resisting arrest. Rarog was also carrying a fake Illinois license with a date of birth stating he was over 21.
The skirmish started when Rarog tried to enter the bar, and Officer Darryn Brown told him the club was closed and asked him to please leave, according to the report.

Rarog didn't move, and after the third time asking him to leave, Brown "tried to usher the suspect out of the door."
"The suspect with hands pushed officer Brown in the chest knocking him backwards," the report reads. "Officer Brown grabbed the suspect's arm to place him under arrest, [and] the suspect broke free and tried to grab [the] officer by the throat."

Brown called for backup, and used open hand tactics to knock him to the ground.
Rarog sustained a cut to the bridge of his nose and another cut on his face that would require stiches. He was booked and transported to BU medical center to be treated.
