The following incidents occured in Back Bay:

Tue, Feb. 8

  • Police towed a motor vehicle from 313 Commonwealth Ave. at 8:30 a.m. 
  • Police responded to 41 Berkeley St. at 4 p.m. for a report of larceny over $200.
  • Police responded to 100 Newbury St. at 4:45 p.m. for a report of shoplifting $50 to $199.
  • Joseph Whalen, of 34 Hoover Road, West Yarmouth, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a knife).
  • Police responded to 101 E. Berkeley St. at 8 p.m. for a report of a motor vehicle causing property damage and leaving the scene.

  • Police investigated a person at 879 Beacon St. at 4:08 p.m.
  • Police investigated a person at 126 Commonwealth Ave. at 4:33 p.m.

Thu, Feb. 10

  • Police towed a motor vehicle on Newbury Street at 9:45 p.m.

  • Police towed a motor vehicle from 229 Berkeley St. at 1:15 a.m.
  • Noelle Marie St. Pierre, of 135 Puritin Drive, Quincy, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. and charged with prostitution. 
  • Police responded to 10 Fairfield St. at 8 a.m. for a report of a motor vehicle causing property damage and leaving the scene.
  • Andre Regis, of 476 Warren St., Roxbury, was arrested at 2:21 p.m. at 333 Newbury St. and charged with violating a restraining order.
  • Police responded at 2:20 p.m. to a report of shoplifting over $200 at 346 Newbury St.
  • Police responded to a report of a car accident involving a police vehicle at 2:50 p.m. at 523 Newbury St.
