Fire in Westin Garage

Firefighters and police have responded to a reported fire in the parking garage. An acetylene torch may have started the first floor fire, according to the Boston Fire Department's offical Twitter account.

"Fire is generating smoke in the garage. Firefighters have water on it keeping it cool. No hotel evacuations at this time," tweeted the department.

Public safety Twitter users @FirePhoto161 and @AlertNewEngland both reported the fire around 10:20 a.m. Monday morning.
