Reunited: Indy The Mass Pike Dog Found
Reunited and it feels so good, Indy, the dog who stopped traffic on the Mass Pike last week was returned to his owner Thursday

BACK BAY, MA — It's a Halloween miracle. The 1-year old pup that made a break for it the day his owner was moving into her new Back Bay home - and caused a kerfuffle when drivers saw it running down the Mass Pike was finally found and brought home, police said yesterday.
Indy's owner Lauren Berluti, could not be reached for comment. But she posted a photo of Indy in a car to her Facebook Page. In it Indy appears a bit dirty but smiley.
"I'm speechless right now," she wrote Thursday evening.
She'd peppered the area with fliers and had spent many days along with Missing Dogs Massachusetts volunteers looking for the pup before she started her first day of work in the city which is new to both her and Indy.
Last week Good Samaritan drivers tried to help scoot him to safety but he got a way and was on the lam for about 11 days.

A number of drivers called 911 to report a dog that matched Indy's description, white with some brown markings and about was running down the highway headed east on Oct. 16. Horrified passengers and drivers watched and hoped for the best, as evidenced by a video one couple posted to YouTube. The doggie seemed to bring out the best in Mass Pike drivers, though. A number of cars slowed down and it seemed tried to corral the wayward pup to the side of the highway. The video (see link below) shows one man running along side another car opens its door at one point in an apparent attempt to coax the dog.
Saturday someone called Indy's owner Lauren Berluti to tell her they'd spotted him around 10 by BU and Storrow.
