VIDEO: South Boston Reacts to Capture of Whitey Bulger

Although accused of 19 murders and on the FBI's Top Ten Fugitive list since the mid-'90's when he went on the run, many South Boston residents still have a soft spot for the local gangster who made a big impression on the neighborhood.

Many knew him, and still keep close ties with the Bulger family. The reactions were disbelief and shock when the alleged mob boss was at the Princess Eugenia apartment complex in Santa Monica. While some admitted he should be punished for his crimes, others remained steadfast in their loyalty.
