10 Charged In Cape Cod Sexual Exploitation Operation
Law enforcement officers posed as escorts online. When 10 people arrived at a Cape Cod location, they were arrested and charged.
CAPE COD, MA — A commercial sexual exploitation operation on Cape Cod resulted in charges for 10 people from the region, officials said.
On Tuesday, the Massachusetts State Police, Barnstable Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations (H.S.I.) and the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office "conducted a mission to reduce the demand of commercial sexual exploitation on Cape Cod," officials said.
An operation was conducted during which law enforcement officers posed as escorts online. A location in the Barnstable area was utilized for the operation.

As a result of the joint operation, 10 people responded to the commercial sex advertisement where probable cause was established, they arrived to the location and were subsequently arrested and charged with violating a Massachusetts law against sexual conduct for a fee.
The following ten individuals were scheduled for arraignment in Barnstable District Court on Sept. 26 and 27:
