2 National Clothing Chains Coming To Cape Cod Mall
The factory stores will debut later this year in the 700,000-square-foot shopping center.

HYANNIS, MA — Two national clothing retailers plan to open factory stores soon in Cape Cod Mall.
Banana Republic and Gap both will debut off-price branches this autumn, according to a news release Thursday.
The mall – which claims to be the only indoor, regional shopping center on the Cape and islands – currently hosts more than 60 stores and restaurants. The 700,000-square-foot space is anchored by chains including Target, Macy’s and Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Details of the space for each newcomer weren’t immediately available.
Banana Republic and Gap are affiliated brands, both owned by The Gap Inc., a multinational clothing retailer headquartered in San Francisco.

The Banana Republic Factory Store will offer apparel and accessories in “timeless, versatile styles inspired by modern exploration and sophistication,” said the mall’s owner, Simon Property Group, in the news release.
The Gap Factory Store “will bring its signature casual style tailored for the entire family, offering everyday essentials, denim favorites and seasonal collections.”
Cape Cod Mall’s general manager, Jason Huer, added, “These sought-after brands reflect our commitment to curating the right mix of retailers that resonate with our Cape Cod community.”
Cape Cod Mall is located at the intersection of MA Route 28 and MA Route 132.
